Radio On Main Street Featuring Kellie Rasberry, Co-Host of the Nationally Syndicated Kidd Kraddick Morning Show based out of Dallas on YEA Networks

In our fifteenth episode of the series, we hear the conversation Erica Farber had with Kellie Rasberry, co-host of the nationally syndicated Kidd Kraddick Morning Show based out of Dallas and syndicated by YEA Networks. Kellie just celebrated her 29th anniversary on the show, and along with Big Al Mack, J-Si and part-timers Justin and Ana, she continues the legacy of the founder of the show, Kidd Kraddick, who hosted the show until his untimely death 10 years ago.

Kidd used to tell Kellie, go out and lead an interesting life, then go on the air and talk about it. The show is a part of so many people’s memories. Kellie describes the show as a shining light in some very dark times. This is yet another great example of the difference radio can make in people’s lives.

Radio On Main Street Featuring Mitch Albom, Host of Detroit’s Longest-running Afternoon Radio Show on WJR

In our fourteenth episode of the series, we hear the conversation RAB’s Erica Farber had with author, philanthropist, columnist and host of Detroit’s longest-running afternoon radio show, Mitch Albom, heard on weekdays from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. on the legendary WJR. His show is a mixture of entertainment and information: a good dose of humor but welcoming to outside opinions and a variety of diverse voices for which he is a ringleader. While we live in a video and a mobile world, there is an intimacy to radio and a connection people make with radio hosts. Radio is just a voice and when you exclusively make a voice connection, you’re really speaking to somebody. The intimacy of radio makes a connection more so than anything else.
